Dave Meyers is a Kingston Falls citizen, who according to the town's deputy, Brent, disguises himself as Santa Claus every Christmas.

As Sheriff Frank Kelly and Deputy Brent Frye makes a stop with their police cruiser while driving around during the night of the gremlins attack, Dave is seen stumbling through a fence, wearing a Santa suit while covered in gremlins that are attacking him. He goes up to the police cruiser and clings onto it hoping for help, whereupon Frank rolls up the window and sees how Dave sinks down to the street and how the gremlin atop his head then leers at the two deputies through the window. Which causes Brent to panick.
