Acid-splasher is a gremlin that spawned at Clamp Center in 1990. It is seen holding a lab canister containing acid.

Gremlins 2: The New Batch[]
After grabbing the acid canister from it's shelf in the Splice O' Life lab, the gremlin glances at the audience and then splashes the acid into the face at another gremlin, who shrieks before donning a white mask to cover it's now scarred face and laughs as it heads off-screen, this is when that gremlin becomes the Phantom Gremlin. It also appears several times with many gremlins.
He was later killed along with most of the other gremlins (except Greta) after getting soaked with water and electrocuted by the Electric Gremlin.
Trivia[]
- In the Hub (now Discovery Family) airing of Gremlins 2: The New Batch, the Acid Throwing Gremlin's scene is cut (the reason why is because it's edited for television). It just picks up the acid canister and looks at the audience. This makes sense, as the Hub (now Discovery Family) is a family channel with many kid friendly shows.
