“Raaaaargh! Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!”|

Phantom spawns at Clamp Center in 1990. Half of the gremlin’s face has been horribly scarred, from an acid splash. The character is a parody of Phantom of the Opera, whereby it dons on a mask, and later plays an organ in homage to the original ‘Phantom’.
The Phantom gremlin is first seen in Clamp Center laboratory with the Acid-splasher, who holds up a flask that comically warns: ‘Warning, do not throw in face’. So, what does he do? Splashes it right on the other’s face, who then becomes the Phantom gremlin. Cackling, he dons a white half-mask. In a later scene, Phantom joins Brain Gremlin's rendition of "New York, New York".
Phantom’s finale comes with playing an organ. The Christine gremlin, who is dressed up as a damsel, sneaks up behind Phantom and unmasks the little devil. Upset about being revealed, the Phantom Gremlin attacks and snarls, pointing to the camera. As its figure blurs, it is reminiscent of the famous 1925 film scene starring Lon Chaney, Sr. as the Phantom.
Phantom presumably dies along with the other gremlins in the lobby, who are wet in water, and get electrocuted by the Electric Gremlin.
- The Phantom Gremlin's a spoof of the classic book, The Phantom of the Opera's main antagonist, Eric AKA the Phantom.
