The Trashcan Gremlin is a gremlin that spawned at Clamp Center in 1990. It was hiding in a large trashcan and lured there to frighten and mess with any unsuspecting bypassers.

Gremlins 2: The New Batch[]
The Trashcan Gremlin emerged from the trashcan as Murray Futterman walked by it, startling the man as well as spitting a big loogie at him, laughing crazily afterwards. Futterman then angrily attacked the gremlin by grabbing it with both hands and lifting it up, carrying it over to an open elevator before hurling it down the elevator shaft, resulting in the gremlin hitting the bottom of the shaft accompanied by a comical squashing noise, indicating that the Trashcan Gremlin had expired.
